Hmm... im back from Hong Kong, so the next few posts will be about my trip there. Hahaha...

Day 1: Hmm... the first day wasnt that exciting, but anyway. Woke up damn early cuz the flight was at 8 sth. So got up at 5 den go airport, after checking in all that den we sat down to wait, had like 45 mins to burn, so my whole family slept on the chairs at the airport. Haha... well, den i found a free internet kiosk, so i blogged one damn short entry although there werent any people queuing up behind me, see im so considerate, =)

Anyway, the flight wasnt that bad larh, i read Memoirs of a Geisha for a while before watch Emperor's New Groove, its damn farny, but no brainer one, juz watch to laugh and laugh and laugh. Den we landed and collected our luggage before taking a taxi to our hotel, which was called Hotel Stanford, located at Mong Kok, an excellent shopping area with alot of local atmosphere. Den after placing our luggage at the hotel, we went out for lunch, cuz it was already 1 plus. So we headed for wad Hong Kong is good for : Dim Sum. The Dim sum was really delicious and i ate alot alot of Har gao and siew mai, delicious. Lol.

After eating we went to walk around Mong Kok area and i bought a sweater, cuz it was 42HK dollars or about 9 SGD, lol, freaking cheap. Anyway, after i bought den my bro and sis also wanted one, so my mum bought for them identical ones, but not my type, theirs more cool. =(
Haha... after eating we continued walking around den we walked around taking pictures before eating dinner. After dinner we went to take a look at the Avenue of stars, which is somewhat like a copy of the Hollywood thing. Haha... den while we were looking at the avenue of stars, i realized that it was nearly 8 o'clock and that at 8 o'clock the buildings on Hong Kong island would light up in a brillant display of lights and sound, it is really nice but abit short, maybe cuz the budget for the display is limited. Lol. Den after the show we took a ferry to Hong Kong island, cuz we were on Kowloon( which means nine dragons, coolio name), which is connected to mainland China. Haha... after looking around Hong Kong island, we took the mtr(yes it is the correct spelling, its wad they call their mrt.) back to our hotel to rest, cuz we were quite tired by then. But, me and my mum still had energy left. So after resting for 1 hour, we went to the Ladies Market, which, contrary to its name, sells alot more than just stuff for ladies. I bought some t-shirts and we ate this waffle which was soooo delicioous, it was called belgium waffles and i tell you it is fucking nice. Lol, den we went back around 12.

Oh well, that was our first day in Hong Kong, although it may sound a little boring, it was not. =)
